FALL 2026 COLLEGE APPLICATION LAB
Expert eyes on your student’s application before they hit Submit.
A 10-week virtual College Application Lab for high school seniors who want to submit their strongest applications—and families who want the peace of mind of knowing an experienced admissions professional has been paying attention along the way.

Starts the week of September 13 • Runs through Thanksgiving
• Limited to 15 students per cohort
College application season is here.
And for many families, September is when the process suddenly starts feeling very real.
-
Is the college list right? Is the essay actually good?
-
Are they presenting their activities effectively?
-
Should they apply Early Action or Early Decision?
-
Are they where they should be right now?
-
Is there something important we’re missing?
And perhaps the biggest question:
How do we know this is the strongest application our student could reasonably submit?
The Fall 2026 College Application Lab gives students structured time, expert guidance, and experienced eyes on their work before they hit Submit.
What happens inside the Lab?
TIMELY APPLICATION GUIDANCE
Each week begins with 30 minutes focused on what students should be working on right now, what matters at this stage of the process, and what commonly gets missed.
DEDICATED WORK TIME
Students spend the remainder of the Lab actually working on their applications—not just talking about working on them.
DIRECT ACCESS TO AN EXPERT
Students can ask questions, troubleshoot decisions, and receive feedback in real time while there is still time to act on it.
EXPERT REVIEW
From college lists and application strategy to the way students represent themselves throughout the application, students receive experienced feedback before submitting their work.
Get the application process off your family’s plate before the holidays.
The Lab runs from the week of September 13 through Thanksgiving week, providing structure and accountability throughout the most consequential weeks of the fall application cycle.
By Thanksgiving, the goal is for your student to have a complete, strategically considered application package that has received expert review.
Families will also receive a final Decision Ready Application Review assessing the student’s completed application strategy, college-list positioning, strengths, potential vulnerabilities, and reasonable expectations heading into decision season.
Instead of spending Thanksgiving break scrambling to finish applications—or wondering whether something important was missed—your family can enter the holidays knowing the work has been thoughtfully done.
Why work with Dr. T?
I’ve spent my career studying and working across the college admissions process.
As an admissions officer at NYU, I evaluated and made decisions on thousands of applications and served on scholarship selection committees.
Across my career, I’ve reviewed more than 15,000 college applications, including providing pre-submission application review through selective private college consulting organizations.
I’ve also led college and postsecondary counseling in a high-performing college-access school, helping build the systems that move students from “I’m applying to college” to thoughtful college lists, strong applications, affordable options, and actual matriculation.
And I hold a Ph.D. in Higher & Postsecondary Education from NYU, where my work has focused on college access, student success, and the conditions that help students thrive after admission.
I’ve seen what students submit. I’ve sat on the other side of the admissions decision. And I’ve spent years studying what happens after students get in.
I’m not trying to turn your child into the student I think a college wants.
My job is to make sure the wonderful person you already know your child to be is visible in the application they submit.

Frequently Asked Questions
(FAQs)
Does participation guarantee admission?
No. No ethical admissions professional can guarantee admission to a particular college or university. Admissions decisions are made independently by institutions and depend on many factors outside ClarifyEd’s control.
Will you write or complete my student’s application?
No. Students remain responsible for their own applications. I teach, advise, review, ask questions, and provide feedback so students can submit work that authentically represents them.
Is this only for students in New York City?
No. The Fall 2026 College Application Lab is virtual and open to students nationwide.
My student already has a school counselor. Can they still participate?
Absolutely. Many school counselors have large caseloads which means your child may not get the attention they need to complete this process. The Lab is designed to complement the support students receive at school by providing additional structured work time, application guidance, feedback, and access to an experienced admissions professional throughout the fall.
Don’t wait until after Submit to wonder what could have been different.
Give your student experienced eyes on their application while there is still time to use the feedback.
Participation in the College Application Lab does not guarantee admission to any college or university. Students remain responsible for completing, verifying, and submitting their own applications.
